What's this passion for?
Reading Virginia Woolf is always like reading myself.I was astonished to read these lines where she said the word which might suit me.
“My own brain is to me the most unaccountable of machinery—always buzzing, humming, soaring roaring diving, and then buried in mud. And why? What’s this passion for?”

I wonder this myself, sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWe are same:p
DeleteNo wonder, I feel the same too...Virginia Woolf was a highly sensitive person...see used to feel everything so deeply, more deeper than any other person would normally feel..
ReplyDeletepassion is related to deep feelings...thinking is related to less of feelings, more of logic...
Writer, artists, poets, actors,philosophers...belong to the former group. They feel everything so intensely...they are also more prone to depression.
I feel that it is a gift. Without passion and depression you cannot have empathy, sensitivity and a flair for creativity...
Well, sometimes this depression is no more than a death before a death!
