The Faults In Our Teachers...

We've been taught ELT throughout this semester and we were made to concern more about Teacher's Role.Methods were introduced,some of which said that Teacher is a counselor,other method stated that Teacher is a Therapist.One said Teacher is like a Partner and another said Teacher is a leader and yada yada!

What,then,Teacher Is?

Robert Frost thinks of Teacher as an awakener.What,then,Teacher "awakes" in students? Feelings of Tenderness or Kindness or Patience?

Never in my life would I be able to forgive myself,neither stop regretting after what I witnessed today,

A teacher snatched the paper from a girl accusing her of cheating.She was enough punished and her plea for paper was her right but your denial assured your mental illness which you've,accurately,transferred to her.She will remember you forever and ever.You have injured her mentally.But you will brag your authority in front of other students by saying "Yaad rkhy gi ab aisa nai kre gi".This is called the "Negative Reinforcement" YES!

ELT model in Pakistan.lol.People,we are made to read those syllabus which say that Teacher is a partner but the applicability of this hypothesis in Pakistan is null.The Teacher here is the most intolerant ones who will even make you experience near the death if you are trying to convince him/her of something logical which is "illogical" for her.

Reasons:

They are personally frustrated.

They have the stereotyped notion that they are always right.

They want to show the students their "authority" (They exploit their authority)

Then,we blame those politicians who are exploiting us.We abuse them and consider them responsible for our circumstances.We must think that did we ever share the harmony,peace,hopes,love,care at individual level?How can we consider them responsible when we,ourselves are empty of tolerance and patience? We deserve this.Yes,you see,we deserve this.

A teacher,who is enthusiastically applying all logic to a student and not giving her back the paper is the competent one because she has the mastery over "university rules" God damn! Even Allah forgives us for our terrible sins.Then why can't you develop a little sense of tolerance and patience? OK! You're not Allah! You talk about University? Then even a University shows concession after reviewing the academic record!

Confess,Teacher!You were personally frustrated and your frustration has stressed a student for a life time.Thank you so much for scarring a student's psyche! This is what Pakistani Teachers are able to do.That is why the students produced here are mostly those who mock their teachers and have no respect for them.So,never blame student but analyse those factors which has made them to ridicule them.

When a teacher shows no respect and is a black spot on the profession then tit for tat.
