Love how you have expressed your existence through simple words. But your thought is profound. As long as we are "worldly beings " this dualism of right/wrong, true/false...will be there. And we are indeed worldly beings...to be "other worldly" or "unworldly " is possible with time though. I am trying to get there...
Yeah, sometimes it feels like we are shadows of life. Sometimes the false battles the real and we are caught in the crossfire. I want to say, like my mother always said, “this too shall pass.” What we really want is to be made whole, not fragmented or shadowlike. We want to be whole beings. And my faith believes that one day we will be whole. Love the way you portray the two sides of our existence here, and the battle common to all humankind.
I long to see something joyous from you someday. Till then, the first stanza was rather unique of its kind.
